Rayne Housey Bories

A native of New Orleans, Rayne Housey Bories attended Tulane University and double majored in History and Art History. She simultaneously pursued her love of painting, minoring in Studio Art while attending classes at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. She then got her Masters in Preservation Studies through Tulane's School of Architecture. She now paints full time using all of the skills and interests she cultivated throughout her education.

Rayne's paintings incorporate her love of history - traditional techniques like gilding and historical subjects - with her love of painting.
