Wendy Westlake

A native of Washington state, Wendy Westlake is an abstract artist who trained in a wide range of media including oils, print making and ceramics. After moving to Minnesota in 1992, she became heavily involved with a community of watercolor artists. Eventually, Wendy starting working in a more large-scale format, pulling from her earlier training in acrylic and oils. She currently works in her studio in Zumbrota, MN. Her work is influenced by her background in watercolor as well as the tradition of American Abstract Expressionism.
