Odette was drawn to the graphic contrast in this set—the rich warm wood paired with black leather upholstery detailed in fine gilt patterning gives them a bold, almost tailored presence. Inspired by the French Restoration period, the frames feature gently curved lines and carved back splats that reference classical motifs, while the upholstery brings a slightly more decorative, European salon feel. The leather shows natural wear and soft creasing that adds depth and authenticity, reinforcing the character of the set rather than detracting from it.
