About the Artist

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Rachael Van Dyke paints vibrant abstract narratives inspired by her off-grid existence and extensive global travels. A dedicated explorer of artistic and cultural environments, Van Dyke has immersed herself in over 20 artist residencies within the US and abroad. Recent highlights include an April 2025 sailing expedition with The Arctic Circle Artist and Scientist Residency Program, alongside past engagements at locations ranging from Keeneland Raceway to Isle Royale National Park and international sites in Spain, France, Portugal, Ireland, Argentina, and Italy. Van Dyke's narrative works have been showcased in solo exhibitions at Art and Light Gallery, the University of MI, and the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center among others. Her art has also found its place in significant corporate collections, including the Henry Ford Cancer Institute, Tyndale Publishing, Bank of America, and Marriott Hotels. Holding an MAE from Kendall College of Art and Design, and represented by galleries in Kentucky, Michigan, Alabama and the Carolinas, Van Dyke also shares her insights through presentations on art, creativity, and the profound influence of place.
