A pair of 19th-century French armchairs that Odette brought quietly back to life. The richly carved walnut frames carry beautiful age and patina—foliate carving across the crest rails, carved detailing at the arms, and reeded, tapered legs—all wrapped into a deep, enveloping barrel-back silhouette. Freshly reupholstered in a delicate document-style print: slender botanical sprigs in rose, soft green, and touches of gold rising in neat columns across an ivory ground, finished with a welted loose seat cushion. The pairing of warm antique wood and a light, garden-like fabric feels at home in a formal sitting room or a layered, collected interior. Sold as a pair.
