Odette Collective
A Madhubani painting from the Mithila region of northern India that caught Odette's eye for the sheer density of its hand-drawn line — seven rosettes of concentric pattern set in a teeming border of fish, birds, and foliage. Pen and ink on paper with a warm patina of age, newly framed in a black moulding under glass. The framed work brings a graphic, gallery-like note to a wall, console, or shelf. Striking on its own or layered into a grouping. Intricate, folkloric, and quietly bold.
