Bar-quality cocktail syrups from Cheeky Cocktails, a small Brooklyn house founded by a former bartender and cocktail instructor. All-natural ingredients, no artificial flavors or preservatives — the shortcut that doesn't taste like one. Odette keeps a row of them on the bar cart for impromptu drinks.
Agave — three parts agave to one part water. Sweeter than sugar, more neutral than honey. The one for a Tommy's Margarita.
Cranberry — 100% cranberry juice and real lemon, with the citrusy tartness of a proper Cosmopolitan.
Espresso — coffee from Café Integral, a small-batch Brooklyn roaster, with cane sugar and gum arabic so an Espresso Martini shakes up with a real crema. Two ingredients, that's it.
Simple — all-natural cane sugar and water in equal parts. If you stock one sweetener, stock this.
