Odette Collective
All curves and warm figure — exactly what Odette is drawn to in an antique commode. The serpentine front swells and recedes across three drawers of richly figured walnut, each crossbanded at the edges and dressed with pierced brass escutcheons and ring-drop pulls. A honeyed patina pools in the grain, the kind only a long life can give a piece. The shaped apron and softly carved feet keep the whole thing graceful rather than heavy. Lovely as a bedroom chest, an entry piece, or a sideboard in a smaller dining room.
