Odette Collective
Odette has a real fondness for Italian faux-marbre, and this one is beautifully done. The wide flat frame is hand-painted to mimic warm sienna-and-ochre marble, complete with drifting grey veining, then edged with a slim gilt molding around a beveled plate. It's the kind of trompe-l'oeil craftsmanship that looks richer than the materials suggest — all warmth and painterly depth.
