Odette Collective
This little French footstool is exactly the kind of carved, gilded charmer Odette can never pass up. Dating to around 1880, it's built on a hand-carved wood frame washed in soft gold, with graceful cabriole legs, scrolled acanthus carving, and a curved X-stretcher that meets in the center — the gilt worn back in places to a warm reddish bole that only adds to its age and character. The seat has been freshly upholstered in a crisp red-and-white geometric print and finished with antique brass nailhead trim, a happy mix of old bones and lively fabric. Tuck it under a console, set it at the foot of the bed, or use it as a perch wherever you need a little extra seat. Small in scale, big on personality.
