Odette Collective
This round French ottoman is the kind of old-meets-playful piece Odette can't resist. The base is hand-carved giltwood from around 1880, its curved legs rolling on original brass casters and the gold finish softened with age to a warm, mellow patina. What really makes it sing is the top: a deep, generous cushion freshly upholstered in a moody navy fabric scattered with whimsical climbing monkeys, leafy branches, and little orange blossoms. Roll it up to a chair as a footrest, use it as a soft perch, or let it stand alone as a conversation piece in a corner. Antique bones, a fabric with a wink — exactly the sort of thing that makes a room feel collected rather than decorated.
