Odette Collective
A handsome Baroque armchair in the Louis XIV manner, made around 1940, with the tall, dignified bearing Odette loves in a statement seat. The walnut frame is rich with period detail — gracefully scrolled open arms and bobbin-turned legs and stretchers — warmed to a deep, glowing brown. It's been upholstered in a beautiful dark block-print, an aubergine ground scattered with paisley-leaf motifs picked out in red and gold, that feels both old-world and current. The high back gives it presence well beyond its footprint. Use it as an accent chair beside a fireplace, at a writing desk, or at the head of a table.
