Odette loves the soft detailing on this one — fine floral sprigs are carved right into the pale fruitwood drawers, like little etchings across the grain. Four crossbanded drawers stack between turned half-columns, topped with a grey marble slab and finished with round brass rosette pulls. The honey-blond wood and gentle bun feet give it a light, almost Biedermeier calm. It's pretty without being precious, and easy to live with day to day. A lovely chest for a bedroom, an entry, or a dressing room.
