A French Napoleon III trunk with Chinese decoration, around 1850, that caught Odette's eye for its lacquered detailing and old-world, chinoiserie charm. The decorative trunk is equal parts storage and statement, lovely at the foot of a bed, in an entry, or as a side table. A collectible piece with real provenance.
