Oak Table with Red Marble from Verona, Italy c. 1940

$3,250.00 $950.00

A handsome Italian table from around 1940 with the solid, architectural lines Odette loves in mid-century pieces. The substantial oak base is honest and sculptural — blocky supports joined by a low trestle stretcher, the timber warm and richly grained — and set into the top is a panel of Rosso Verona, the prized red marble quarried near Verona, with its mottled rust-and-amber coloring and soft veining. The combination of weighty oak and warm stone gives it real presence at a low, generous height. Use it as a coffee table, a low console, or a bench-height surface in an entry. Sturdy, warm, and full of Italian craftsmanship.
