A Directoire settee with a finely carved wood frame surrounding a seat and back in soft green. Odette especially admired its elegant proportions and crisp neoclassical lines — a formal little French bench that brings a note of history to an entry, the foot of a bed, or a sunny window. The frame carries a warm patina earned over well more than a century.
