Odette Collective
A romantic pair of carved French armchairs from around 1880, all soft curves and pretty detail in the way Odette loves for a bedroom or sitting room. The walnut frames glow warm and honeyed, crowned with a pierced, foliate-carved crest above a balloon-shaped back, with gracefully scrolled open arms and turned front legs. They've been upholstered in a gentle pink-and-cream dotted fabric finished with crisp white piping, and one wears a sweet round button cushion. Feminine without being fussy, they make a lovely pair flanking a fireplace or dressing area, or used singly as accent chairs in two rooms. Charming, comfortable, and full of nineteenth-century romance.
