Odette Collective
A handsome, design-pedigree pair of Spanish lounge chairs by Paco Muñoz, around 1960, in the safari spirit Odette loves for its rugged, architectural ease. Each pairs a solid wood frame — peg-through joinery and turned ball finials, all warm honeyed timber — with a sling of black saddle leather forming the seat and back, secured with rows of oversized studs. The construction is honest and a little brutalist, the leather already broken in to a supple, lived-in feel. As a pair they make wonderfully relaxed lounge chairs flanking a fireplace, in a study, or anchoring a reading corner, and the name behind them gives serious mid-century cred. Soulful, sturdy, and effortlessly cool.
