Odette has a real soft spot for a provincial commode dressed in faded grey, and this one delivers. A serpentine Louis XV silhouette is carved with rococo molding across three drawers, then washed in a soft, worn grey paint that catches white in the carving's recesses. Rococo brass pulls and escutcheons glint against the muted finish, and scrolled cabriole feet keep it light. The result feels equal parts French country and Swedish calm.
