A Dutch coffee table from the 1980s: a square clear glass top floating on four tapered brass columns, each capped with a mitred bracket that grips the corner of the glass. The brass has mellowed to a soft antique tone. Architectural and almost weightless — it holds a seating group together without closing off the floor.
