Spanish Leather and Brass Cabinet on Carved Stand c. 1900

$2,250.00

A Spanish cabinet from around 1900, wrapped in deep red leather and outlined in rows of hand-set nailheads, with pierced brass mounts at the corners and across its two doors. Odette was drawn to the color, which has mellowed to a warm oxblood with a beautifully time-earned surface. It stands on a carved base with bold turned supports and a low shelf beneath, and the shelved interior makes it a natural bar cabinet. Compact in footprint but strong in presence, it suits a library, a study or the end of a hall.
